Job Summary:

This position will perform scheduled and un-scheduled maintenance tasks to support a fleet of MH-139 at Malmstrom AFB, Montana in accordance with United States Air Force approved maintenance procedures and the Supplier approved Ground Operating Procedures (GOP) MH-139A maintenance procedures, as well as other documented maintenance and support procedures. Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

• Performs aircraft maintenance transit inspections and fault resolution.

• Adjusts, repairs, or replaces electrical wiring system and aircraft accessories

• Performs preflight, thru-flight, and post-flight maintenance inspections

• Performs miscellaneous duties to service aircraft, including flushing crankcase, cleaning screens and filters, greasing moving parts, and checking brakes

• Cleans parts, using cleaning solutions, and polishing and lapping compounds

• Performs work under general supervision

• Handles moderately complex issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff

• Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Secret Clearance (interim Secret to start)

• HS diploma or equivalent

• Technicians must have previous helicopter experience with a minimum of four (4) years aviation experience

• Must be able to pass DOT ground support physical
