Great Falls Community Food Bank is a 501(c)(3) charity in Great Falls, MT. Our goal is to fulfill our mission to supply food to charitable organizations who feed the hungry in our town, as well as school children through our Backpacks4Kids program. Customer-centric Responsibilities: - Oversee and manage all warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management. - Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes and procedures to ensure optimal productivity and accuracy. - Coordinate transportation planning and logistics to ensure timely delivery of goods. - Supervise a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations. - Monitor and maintain inventory levels to meet customer demands while minimizing carrying costs. - Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of warehouse activities. - Implement lean principles to improve warehouse efficiency and reduce waste. - Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory, orders, and shipments. - Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment. Experience: - Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role. - Strong knowledge of warehouse distribution processes and procedures. - Experience in transportation planning and managing freight shipments. - Proficient in using warehouse management systems and other relevant software. - Demonstrated ability to lead and supervise a team effectively. - Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
