Robert Half HR Business Partner in Green Bay, Wisconsin

Description

We are seeking an HR Business Partner to join our team in the Plastics Manufacturing industry, based in the greater Green Bay, Wisconsin area. This role will play an integral part in driving HR solutions, overseeing the execution of human resources policies and programs, and identifying workforce needs. The HR Business Partner will also ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Partner strategically with plant leadership to develop and implement initiatives related to retention, training and development, and compliance.

• Assist employees with inquiries pertaining to HR-related matters.

• Administer and improve human resource policies and procedures.

• Oversee all recruitment-related activities, including posting/communicating open positions, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and updating job descriptions.

• Manage the onboarding process for newly hired employees.

• Conduct exit interviews and workplace investigations, and assist with employee relations counseling.

• Compile and report HR metrics to management.

• Analyze local labor and compensation trends, and develop initiatives to maintain competitiveness in the labor market.

• Assist with the annual performance review process.

• Conduct regular staff review and retention meetings.

• Present HR topics at regular Plant Communication meetings.

Requirements • Possession of a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

• Minimum of three years of experience working in a HR role, preferably within a manufacturing industry

• Proven knowledge and experience in core HR processes and practices

• Demonstrated ability to handle employee relations and benefit functions

• Experience in working with business units and understanding their needs

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

• Familiarity with compliance requirements in a HR context

• Experience in talent acquisition, including recruitment and onboarding processes

• Proficiency in HRIS - Human Resources Information Systems

• Experience with HR payroll systems

• Knowledge and experience in HR compliance within a manufacturing company

• Ability to collaborate with a team and work independently as needed

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
