JOB REQUIREMENTS: Internal Opening Only - Procurement Manager SUMMARY The Nature\'s Way Procurement Manager is a leader supporting the Procurement Team, internal & external customers, and our suppliers. This position will oversee multiple projects, process improvements, and systems that support the ongoing growth and efficiency of the Procurement function across Nature\'s Way. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. * Facilitate and lead the product flow of raw materials & finished goods for outsourcing. Responsible for raw material inventory readiness, availability, and visibility to meet customer demand. * Key member of cross functional Supply Chain team that creates agile execution plans to support demand shifts and minimize slow moving inventory and out of stock exposure. * Collaborate with Strategic Sourcing Team to align goals, strategies, and supplier management. * Provide project management and ownership by interacting with vendors and our internal teams, encompassing critical component planning, allocation direction, supply flexibility modeling, and materials liability management for Packaging & Contract Manufacturing. * Leads and continuously identify areas of process improvement and engage Supply Chain (SC) team members to build, implement and maintain solutions. * Lead vendor-managed inventory projects to reduce lead-time, improve inventory turns, and reduce working capital. * Identifies and implements cost reduction opportunities by reviewing supplier capabilities, material options, and processing requirements to meet and/or exceed the cost reduction initiatives. * Monitor raw material and packaging inventories to ensure sufficient quantities to cover scheduled production and schedule changes and meet customer emergencies. * Manage supplier performance with feedback though monthly scorecards to mitigate risk, support performance improvement, and proactively identify issues.
