TMHNA is undertaking an aggressive digital transformation designed to add unprecedented efficiency to its operation and improve the customer experience for its large customer base. As a part of this digital transformation, TMHNA is developing and installing a highly integrated Dealer Management System (DMS) across its entire dealer network. The platform will be highly integrated with our corporate system and will connect data and information across dealer territories. The DMS is central to many of TMHNA’s most strategic initiatives and vision for the future.

About the position: The DMS Financial Analyst will work with the Senior DMS Program Lead to ensure project financials are accurate and that processes are in place to track and report, ensuring that spending is in line with budget. This individual will also support related ad-hoc analysis. The successful candidate will need to be able to develop a keen understanding of how TMHNA, TMH, and Raymond constituencies operate and how to best support to ensure processes meet required policies.

Budget

  • Will be required to learn Japan and North America Investment Committee approval line items and become the go-to person

  • Ensure all appropriate backup exists to support final, approved budgets

  • Create a site where all related information is maintained and accessible
  • Work with other constituencies to ensure appropriate budget tracking and reporting mechanisms are in place
  • Take the lead with TMH and Raymond Finance groups to communicate budget requirements for their organizations
  • Take the lead to provide Tax groups with whatever is required to support their audit and tax reporting requirements (i.e. information, analysis, etc.)
  • Develop a “visualization” of budget, actuals, SOWs, etc.
  • Lead financial forecasting activities, including accruals
  • Provide information to Senior DMS Program Lead in support of monthly updates for TICO IT and TICO board meetings and ensure backup data is maintained for easy traceability
  • Utilize SAP data to provide insights to TMHNA, TMH, and Raymond constituencies on questions, recommendations on improvements to reporting, etc.
  • Responsible for understanding licensing billing requirements as it relates to DMS, including reviews, contracts, billing creation and changes, and licensing revenue forecasting

Statements of Work (SOWs)

  • Participate in SOW creation to ensure details are incorporated to meet TMHNA, TMH, and Raymond requirements, such as CAPEX/OPEX designations, and that milestones and deliverables are clear
  • Set up POs and PRs to ensure invoice billings/payments are in place
  • Review all invoices to ensure that details are provided and match the SOW, that they provide context of what work was completed and by whom, and that they are within SOW guidelines. Review discrepancies with Senior DMS Program Lead and take the lead with the vendor to resolve. Recognize when to escalate to PMO leadership.
  • Act as a key contact for TMHNA, TMH, and Raymond questions

Ad Hoc Financial Analysis

  • Cash flow analysis
  • Dealer deployment cost/ROI analysis
  • Identify and research accounting issues to ensure adherence to GAAP, IFRS, and other accounting standards

About the schedule: This position is based in our Greene, NY office and is expected to have a hybrid schedule upon successful completion of the initial training period.

About you:

  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • At least 4 years of related experience is required

We are looking for someone with:

  • Strong analytical skills (ability to take raw data and organize it in a manner where relevant insights are provided)
  • Strong communication skills (ability to communicate information in a manner that clearly articulates an issue and explains key insights, including recommended solutions)
  • Ability to manage larger projects with a project management approach: detail oriented, engaging appropriate key stakeholders, able to research, track progress, and communicate project status
  • Ability to research and follow through to completion critical issues/projects that are deadline-driven
  • Demonstrated knowledge of accounting principles, Company accounting policies and IFRS
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel (i.e. VLOOKUP, SUMIF), SAP pivot tables and other functions and PowerPoint

About the total compensation package:

Salary - $66,800 - $85,700 per year. Compensation commensurate with selected candidate’s experience.

Relocation - This position may qualify for relocation.
