Forward Air Procurement Clerk in Greeneville, Tennessee

Position: Procurement Clerk

Job Description:

The ideal Procurement Clerk will be responsible for auditing invoices, addressing internal customer needs, developing vendor relationship and invoice resolution and analysis.

Core Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Reconcile monthly statements from vendors to ensure all invoices have been received and closed for payment and also clean the system of accrued maintenance purchase orders no longer needed

  • Various other reporting done weekly and monthly

  • Will be accountable for invoice processing when time allows

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Highly organized, strong attention to detail

  • Strong work ethic, high integrity

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Knowledge of reporting tools & other MIS tools

  • Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel

Skills:

  • Ideal candidate will possess a “can do” attitude with a “will do” work ethic

  • Interpersonal skills necessary to build effective working relationships with employees at all levels of the organization

  • Strong organization, and prioritization

  • General computer skills - Microsoft Office, Outlook, AS400

  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills
