Honey Lake Clinic believes in the integration of mind, body, and spirit to bring holistic healing for the patients under its care. *[JOB DESCRIPTION:[ Direct Care Tech contributes to Christ-centered behavioral health healing by ensuring their primary responsibility is the daily supervision, physical safety, and well-being of patients while at Honey Lake Clinic.   • Follows program operation policies and procedures to ensure compliance with AHCA, DCF, and Joint Commission as well as Honey Lake Clinic standards and procedures.
  • Provides supervision and transportation as needed to patients in all program areas and off-site transportation.
  • Notifies Charge Nurse of potential problems with patients
  • Obtains vital signs, daily weights, urine drug screens per schedule or as needed
  • Performs patient safety checks, provides 1:1 supervision if ordered by provider
  • Actively participates in emergency drills
  • Completes all training as assigned
  • Sanitize employee areas
  • Flip and Clean patients room when needed and when requested
  • Always displays professionalism with patients and staff
  • Ensures proper uniform is worn at all times including but not limited to wearing navy scrubs
  • Other duties as assigned by the Charge Nurse/ Nurse Manager

[REQUIREMENTS: [Direct Care Tech should have the following skills, education, and experience:]{cambria",serif"=""}]{cambria",serif"=""}

  • 18 years old with a High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Must have basic knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, and presentation software (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and PowerPoint).
  • Must be flexible to work evenings and weekends and additional hours when necessary.
  • Must be able to lift/carry up to 30 pounds.
  • Meet criminal background check, Level II screening per state requirements
