Industrial Electrician
Peoplelink Staffing Solutions in partnership with a prominent client in Greenville, MI within the Automotive industry.
Industrial Electrician Responsibilities:
- Shift- Based on seniority, must work the first 60 days on 1^st^ shift per contract, likely to be on 3^rd^ shift (11p-7a) or 2^nd^ shift (3p-11p) after that training period.
- Perform electrical installation, maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on various machines, equipment, and systems
- Systems will include analog, digital, PLCs, CNCs, temperature controllers, HMI's, motor controls, Induction Heating, Heat-treat, variable speed drives, counters, timers, microprocessor-based controllers, and traditional relay logic-controlled equipment
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, wiring diagrams, and manufacturers' specifications
- Work with and provide your own set of tools
- Work with team leads and supervisors to maintain production standards
- Must adhere to health and safety policies and procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Test Mechanical equipment to ensure proper functioning.

Industrial Electrician Qualifications:
- Must be a Journeyman Electrician or have 8 years of experience as an industrial electrician that can be proven with a signed letter from past employers.
- Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals
- Ability to walk, climb, and carry tools and equipment throughout shift
- Ability to lift to 50lbs
- Must be able to work overtime- weekends as needed
- Attention to detail to ensure safety while performing electrical tasks
- Willingness to train
- Effective communication skills and ability to plan and organize work
- Electrical Apprentice or Journeyman card
- Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to commute reliably to work.
- Organizational skills
- Clear written and communication skills
