Boviet Solar General Procurement -Purchasing Agent in Greenville, North Carolina

**SUMMARY: In order to meet the needs of the company's normal production operations, we carry out procurement work based on the work plan of the Procurement Division.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for promoting internal demand integration and internal demand clarification;
  • Responsible for organizing the development of new sources of goods (proficient in a variety of categories of product expertise, with independent development and integration capabilities), integration and optimization of the purchase channel
  • Responsible for negotiating with suppliers on commercial contracts, purchase prices, payment methods, delivery dates, etc., and strictly controlling purchasing costs.
  • Responsible for the delivery, quality, quantity and other procurement abnormalities in a timely manner to track and deal with, including claims.
  • Responsible for supplier verification and supplier supply quality, service and other supplier management;
  • Responsible for the supplier inquiry, price comparison, bargaining, reduce the company's procurement costs, and report the relevant information to the senior leadership for approval;
  • Responsible for the investigation of the market situation of the purchased materials, dynamic information collection and collation, and report to the senior leadership, in order to adjust the procurement strategy in a timely manner;
  • Responsible for tracking the quality and quantity of goods, and responsible for the procurement of abnormalities, returns, exchanges, compensation with suppliers;
  • Responsible for the production of procurement contract, order change and withdrawal;
  • Responsible for accounts and reimbursement procedures of related bills;
  • Actively completing other tasks assigned by the department and communicating instructions to supervisors in a timely and accurate manner.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS: *Education:*

  • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics or Economics.

Experience:

  • More than three years of relevant purchasing experience in a manufacturing company

*Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: *

  • Knowledge of economics, management, supply chain and other theories
  • Skillful operation of computer and office software knowledge
  • Master the procurement business process, supplier communication and negotiation and other professional skills.
  • Possess management and coordination skills.
  • Strong team spirit.
