Description We are looking for an Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team in Greenville, South Carolina. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity in the accounting industry. As an Accounting Manager/Supervisor, you will oversee accounting systems and operations, prepare financial reports, manage the budget process, conduct financial analysis, guide the company's financial decisions, oversee regulatory reporting, and permanent, train, and retain accounting staff.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing and managing the accounting, payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable departments.

• Preparing and presenting financial reports and statements, as well as coordinating the annual audit process.

• Managing the budget process, including preparing budgets, forecasting, and analyzing variances.

• Conducting financial analysis to identify trends, efficiencies, and areas for cost reduction.

• Guiding the company's financial decisions and collaborating with the executive team.

• Overseeing regulatory reporting, including tax planning and compliance.

• Hiring, training, and retaining accounting staff to ensure a high-performing team.

• Developing and monitoring internal financial controls and procedures to maintain financial integrity. Requirements • Must hold a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role or in the field of accounting

• Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems is essential

• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is required

• Thorough understanding of Accounting Functions is mandatory

• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary

• Prior experience in Auditing is expected

• Knowledge of Billing Functions is required

• Experience in handling Month End Close is necessary

• Must have previously conducted Annual Inventory and Annual Physical Inventory

• Understanding of Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) is essential
