Description We are in search of an Accounts Payable Specialist to become a part of our team in the Machinery Manufacturing industry based in Greenville, South Carolina. This role involves processing customer applications, maintaining accurate records, and resolving customer inquiries. This contract to hire position will also require the monitoring of customer accounts and taking appropriate actions when necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications

• Maintenance of precise customer credit records

• Addressing and resolving customer inquiries in a timely manner

• Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate actions when necessary

• Ensure correct account coding for all transactions

• Proficiently use Concur for managing expense reports

• Handle all aspects related to Accounts Payable (AP) including invoice processing, entering invoices, and invoice approvals

• Maintain vendor files in an organized and up-to-date manner

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting

• Resolve discrepancies in accounts and manage check runs. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Invoice Processing and Entering Invoices

• Familiarity with Account Coding

• Proficiency in using Concur for expense reports

• Experience in Accounts Payable (AP)

• Ability to resolve discrepancies in invoices and payments

• Experience in processing Check Runs

• Familiarity with maintaining Vendor Files

• Experience in Invoice Approvals

• Capable of handling confidential financial information responsibly

• Detail-oriented and able to maintain accuracy in high volume environments

• Good communication skills for vendor interactions

• Strong organizational skills for managing multiple tasks and deadlines

• A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvements.
