Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an Additive Machining and Printer Technician to join the team of one of their top customers in the Greenville, SC area. This person is responsible for the development and qualification of metal 3D printed gas turbine components and processes. This Machining and Printer Technician will be responsible for the successful processing of parts across both the print and post print operations across various pieces of equipment in the Advanced Manufacturing Works development facility, with a focus on safety, quality delivery and cost. The technician will also be involved in continuous improvement projects supporting the modification and improvement of the print and post print process fixtures and tooling, while supporting the broader team in the implementation solutions. This role is 7am-3pm, Monday-Friday and onsite in Greenville, South Caroline.

Skills and Requirements

Machinist Associates Degree and 2 years applicable experience, or 4+ years of applicable experience

Comfortability with 3D printers and ability to run a mill, manual lathe, drill, saw, etc

Experience troubleshooting equipment and doing preventative maintenance

Comfortable in manufacturing environment where PPE is required null
