Job Title: Geotechnial Engineering TechnicianResponsibilities

• Perform site observations of earthwork, utility backfill, excavations, and foundation construction.

• Conduct construction material testing and special inspections.

• Collect samples and perform tests to monitor compliance with construction specifications.

• Travel to job sites using company vehicles and interact with the Design Team, Building Officials, Contractors, and Clients.

• Complete technical reports.

• Coordinate with Project Managers and provide constant communication when on-site.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• ACI field concrete testing certification.

• Radiation safety certification.

• Experience in construction.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Work Environment

Report to the office/lab, but 90% of the job will be in the field on construction sites. This position offers growth opportunities and bonus potential. The company is one of the largest architecture and engineering firms in the Southeast, committed to building communities with inspired design.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00
