What You Will Be Doing

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a dynamic Industrial Engineering and Scheduling Manager to join our team in Greenville, SC. In this role, you will support the Greenville Site Aircraft Operations MMRO (Maintenance, Modification, Repair, and Overhaul) and drive continuous improvement initiatives, manage hangar capacity/utilization, and take on additional responsibilities as directed.

Key Responsibilities

- Review MMRO schedules, processes, and specifications to enhance efficiency and reduce waste

- Design and implement process improvements and technological upgrades, focusing on maximizing operational effectiveness

- Prepare detailed cost analyses to support decision-making and project planning

- Collaborate with the Program Office and Sustainment Operations to assess facility capacity and plan for future operations

- Ensure all processes and procedures meet regulatory requirements and Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) oversight standards

- Develop and report metrics that support the Capability Delivery System, and write policies and procedures for areas of responsibility

You are an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in industrial engineering and scheduling, eager to drive innovation and efficiency in aircraft operations. You excel at analyzing complex processes, designing strategic improvements, and implementing cutting-edge technologies. Your strong analytical skills, combined with your ability to prepare cost analyses and manage capacity, make you a valuable asset in optimizing operations. You have a deep understanding of regulatory compliance, including DCMA standards, and are skilled at developing metrics, policies, and procedures. A natural leader and collaborator, you thrive in dynamic environments, working seamlessly with cross-functional teams to achieve continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university

• Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and financial measures.

• Scheduling methodology and critical path determination experience

• 6 years related experience in Manufacturing Operations or Aircraft Operations

• Demonstrated team leadership experience

• Advanced MS Excel and MS Project Experience

Desired Skills:

• Aviation Sustainment and/or Production experience

• Industrial Engineering Degree

• Understanding of Critical Path Methodology

• Experience writing policies and procedures

• Green Belt Certified or equivalent

• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation)

• Demonstrated ability to work with multiple levels of management, industry peers, diverse workforce in addition to internal and external customers

• Ability to think strategically with a lean focus

• Ability to develop and manage budgets

• Experience assigning/managing projects by leading a team of other leaders or staff to meet critical schedules, resolve complex and/or time sensitive technical or operational issues

• Ability to manage functional leaders in creating, monitoring and reporting on all operating metrics

• Control Account Manager (CAM) Certified

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
