Job Description:

L3Harris is seeking a Project Specialist to maintain multiple projects with our Senior Leadership Communications (SLC) Program Office. The candidate will be responsible for the administrative functions of the program initiatives, including drafting communications for funding, proposals, and preparing for upcoming meetings, while adhering to contractual obligations and subsequent reporting.

Essential Functions:

  • Set goals and empower individuals to take ownership for their assignments.

  • Assist leadership in identifying program growth opportunities in addition to facilitating capture of new opportunities with customers.

  • Responsible for the cost, schedule, and technical performance of program.

  • Drives all phases of aircraft requirements and modification installation planning and execution from inception through completion.

  • Drives program planning to achieve key business and financial objectives for orders, revenue recognition, operating income, and free cash flow for new, continuing, or current programs.

  • Manages preparation of proposals, performance Statement of Work (SOW) and specifications, operating budgets, and financial terms/conditions of contract.

  • Effectively communicates with all levels of co-workers, senior management, and customer.

  • Works with Functions assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing, and administrative areas to identify areas of improvement for systems and processes.

  • The selected individual must set the highest ethical standards for self and others.

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance

    Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Experience working in aircraft and system integration labs

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Tools

  • Knowlegable in Project Management

  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple efforts simultaneously

  • Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
