Job Summary

Assisting in the overall operation of the cake line production from start to finish by operating machines and performing operations, such as mixing, cutting, cake line icing, touch-up, ensuring quality, and packaging.

This will be a 1st shift position. 7:00am - 3:30pm. Monday - Friday

Position Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor the cake production line from start to finish.

  • Rotate through and perform all steps of the production line.

  • Replenish supplies and maintain cleanliness in work areas.

  • Ensure the final product meets customer specifications for quality.

  • Maintain high safety standards and keep food safety logs.

  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and GMPs.

  • Focus on continuous improvement in quality, safety, and compliance.

  • Maintain regular attendance and provide notice for absences.

     

    Qualifications

  • Ability to work overtime

  • Ability to communicate and work effectively with a variety of diverse individuals within the plant.

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as: safety rules, operating instructions, formulas, and policy and procedures manuals.

  • Ability to write standard information into related paperwork.

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure

  • including but not limited to pounds, ounces, grams, using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals, and temperatures.

  • Ability to thrive in a constantly changing environment.
