Software Asset Manager Fortune 500 client Location: 100% Remote Pay: $49-56/hr Duration: 6 month contract with the potential to extend Compliance: Background check required Job Description: This resource will be responsible for managing simple to complex software license compliance data and reporting to better assist management in maximizing resources in various departments or lines of business. Through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable technologies and industry requirements, this role will be responsible for creating and producing reports in order to provide insights to determine operational and financial impact, trends, and opportunities. This role will be in the Information Technology organization and requires a thorough understanding of licensing terms, hardware and software technologies. This position is considered a subject matter expert in software licensing reporting and analysis and mentor to others Requirements: Experience with more than just the big vendors like Adobe, Microsoft, etc. Need someone with small vendor experience too Experience with Index Matching in Excel Experience with contract negotiation, working with legal, procurement and internal stakeholder Experience with Flexera or ServiceNow SAM Pro Data analysis experience Apex Benefits Overview: Apex offers a range of supplemental benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and other insurance plans that offer an optional layer of financial protection.
