The Select Group Sr. Data Analyst in Greenwood Village, Colorado

Sr. Data Analyst: The Select Group is looking for a Sr. Data Analyst for one of our top Telecommunication clients. This is going to be a long-term contract, located in Denver, CO (Hybrid).

Sr. Data Analyst Requirements:

  • 10+ years of data analysis and reporting experience
  • History of working in complex data analytics projects using data from various applications and warehouses
  • Demonstrated ability to understand the data and the applications/processes that generates this data by iteratively hypothesizing and either proving or disproving the same while building overall understanding of dataset and the process flow
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with data integration and ETL processes
  • Extensive experience building self-serve dashboards using Tableau and data analysis using Excel
  • Self-starter who enjoys problem-solving with little direct supervision. Ability to learn quickly with a high tolerance for ambiguity and complexity
  • Strong communication, verbal and written with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to non-technical stakeholders

Nice to Have:

  • Previous experience working with call, case, and order data from sources such as Salesforce, Remedy, NICE, IVR etc.
  • Experience using Python for data analysis and predictive analytics

Sr. Data Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Work with stakeholders across the organization to identify data needs and identify and/or develop self-serve dashboards that meet stakeholder needs
  • Research, hypothesize, test and validate, establish the link between and within data from various sources and leverage that understanding to answer business questions
  • Write complex SQL queries that utilizes multiple tables and generates the output that can be leveraged in reports
  • Develop and maintain automated processes using python that streamline data analysis and reporting
  • Use data analysis techniques to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data sets
  • Ensure data quality and accuracy through data validation and testing
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis and identify opportunities to improve existing processes
  • Document reporting requirements and processes
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data analysis
