Spectrum Sr. Manager, Software Development in Greenwood Village, Colorado

TITLE: Sr. Manager, Software Development

LOCATION: Greenwood Village, CO

JOB SUMMARY: Oversee and manage a team of software professionals who deliver customer-facing and back office software solutions. Manage a development team that operates cross-functionally with product, operations, and testing teams to ensure quality and timely delivery of code. Provide team support and direction on shifting priorities for new and existing projects as well as enterprise initiatives. Organize and delegate work as needed. Implement software proposals and estimate scope of work. Plan for and align resources for completion of work. Work closely with cross functional teams on resource allocation, budget implications and timeline considerations. Handle escalations for internal partners to assist in resolving roadblocks and mitigating risks to ensure successful on-time software product delivery. Provide input to management regarding technical issues, strategic planning of projects, system operations, and new software development and deployment. Experiment with new technologies to ensure company can scale for the future.

EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or a related field. 6 years of experience building and designing software solutions; 3 years of experience providing leadership within an Agile/Scrum setting; utilizing Java, Javascript, or Python in the development and deployment of network automation platforms and applications; implementing test automation and code coverage; overseeing software release processes; tracking bugs and tickets; and performing conflict resolution. A hybrid (in office and remote work) arrangement is available.

Salaries depend on geography, experience, and education; negotiations begin at $158,345 per year.

The base pay for this position generally is between $158,345.00 and $196,400.00 . The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses.
