Job Description

This position is responsible for providing basic product rework as identified in a Corrective Action Request (CAR) supplied with each returned product.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Perform initial evaluations and basic repairs on various product lines.

  • Replace defective components to bring product into specification.

  • Clean and prepare units for return to customer.

  • Maintain repair records and related data via Repair Center system.

  • Provide timely feedback on product issues to management.

  • Provide input that assists in developing and improving return and repair processes.

  • Provide timely input and work with the VSL to prepare performance metrics.

  • Expediting urgent requests as needed.

  • Utilize the use of product configuration, testing and packaging procedures to perform initial evaluation and basic repairs.

  • Determine new label requirements based on CAR instructions.

  • Maintain rework documentation.

  • Identify and drive CIP projects within the department.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma

  • Minimum of 1 year in an electronics manufacturing or repair environment experience.

  • Label Making Equipment Operation.

  • Soldering

  • SAP or other MRP System Knowledge.

  • Lean Manufacturing System Tools.

  • Microsoft Office computer experience (Excel, Outlook, Power Point and Word).

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

  • Highly self-motivated and strong learner – the ability to adapt to changing requirements.

  • Must work effectively in a team environment and have demonstrated leadership skills.

  • Ability to be flexible and adaptive to internal processes and change, delays, or unexpected events.

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced work environment.

  • Ability to work well under pressure or tight deadlines.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule.

  • Ability to safely lift and/or move product and/or equipment of up to 50 lbs.

Additional Information

Compensation Information:

This position is an hourly position and the U.S. annual base salary range for this full-time position is $38,893 to $58,339 . Within this range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to work experience, applicable education, job knowledge, role complexity, job geographic location, etc. This position is not bonus eligible.
