Aerotek Aircraft Component Repair Technician (Entry Level) in Griffin, Georgia

Job Title: Component Repair Technician (Entry Level)

We are hiring an Aircraft Component Repair Technician for an exciting role in Griffin, GA! This is an entry level position and a great opportunity to be trained and learn a valuable skillset within aviation.

Responsibilities include the following:

  • Responsible for breaking torque and bead of tires.

  • Removes bearings and related hardware including bolts, washers, and nuts.

  • Cleans hardware and wheels in an aqueous or solvent-based machine.

  • Removes paint occasionally with a dry system such as bead blast.

  • Operates heavy-duty hydraulic jacks and other equipment to perform wheel maintenance functions.

  • Assists other departments when necessary.

  • Performs other duties as assigned or required.

Hard Skills

  • Entry Level Experience - knowledge working with hand tools

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Soft Skills

  • Ability to work cooperatively as a team member and individually

  • Ability to work cooperatively within timelines provided and meet production requirements assigned.

  • Good work ethic

  • Reliable

Job Type

This is a contract-to-hire position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Griffin, Georgia. Position will require second shift availability.
