Position Summary

Positions in this sub-family are responsible for managing or performing skilled trades and lower level apprentice craft work for construction, maintenance, and repair of facilities systems, buildings, and equipment. Responsible for performing complete operation checkout, modification, disassembly, repair, reassembly, test calibration, diagnosis, and correction of problems. Follows repair and return processes to ensure high quality and short cycle time of repair and return. Sets up necessary repair and test facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain equipment for industrial production, industrial processing, pipeline distribution systems, conveyors.

  • Install machinery and make minor adjustments to equipment and machinery.

  • Perform preventive maintenance, take apart equipment to make repairs, inspect parts for damage, replace worn and broken parts, and reassemble equipment.

  • Test and observe running machinery.

  • Use soldering irons, hoists and lifts, grinders, hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, testing equipment.

  • Test fixed machinery

  • Clean and lubricate parts.

  • Read and use blueprints, schematics, manuals, technical drawings, work orders, test results, machine error messages.

  • Record all work activities using CMMS.

  • Use PLC software to identify and correct machine issues.

  • Comply with safety regulations.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

At least 5 years of Industrial Maintenance in multi-craft manufacturing environment or 3+ years maintenance related military experience or completed program and 2 years of Industrial Maintenance experience.

Preferred candidate must possess general computer skills, PLC Experience, and Presentation/Communication Skills.

Compensation and Benefits Offered:

  • Pay: $32.89-$39.25/hr

  • $3,000 sign on bonus ($1,500 after 1 month and $1,500 after 1 year)
