Job Description The Materials Management Specialist is responsible for developing expertise and know-how related to how Materials Management is handled within the Lifecycle Services (LCS) Segment (across all groups and regions), in partnership with the Rockwell Automation Internal Supply Chain (ISC) organization. This includes ensuring clear understanding of all business operations (people, processes and tools) as utilized by Project Managers (or other personas) related to how Materials Management functions are performed within our customer-facing project delivery engagements. You will report to the Manager, Project Delivery Platforms and Processes. Your Responsibilities: You will act as a Core Team Member of the Professional Services Automation (PSA) program, leading the Materials Management Workstream within the transformation initiative. You will be a subject matter expert representing Lifecycle Services Global Operations on continuous improvement efforts, collaboration efforts with ISC and transformation initiatives which impact the people, processes or tools involved with Materials Management for LCS. You will be involved in defining requirements, design, testing, change management and training activities pertaining to how Materials Management functions are performed within PSA, including ensuring that Project Managers (and other personas) have the required functionality and usability needed for the execution of their roles. You will also develop expertise and understanding of related Materials Management functions within our Rockwell Automation SAP and IFS ERP systems (those functions relevant to LCS and Project Manager business requirements and use cases). Ability to travel up to 25%, domestic or internationally, as needed The Preferred - You Might Also Have: 3+ years of related experience in similar roles Experience and skills related to direct and indirect product/services procurement (internal product and 3rd party product) used for customer facing project delivery engagements A clear understanding (either from direct or indirect experience) of the business needs and requirements of Project Managers and the data, experience, use cases and outcomes that they need related to Materials Management An understanding, outside of Rockwell Automation, of industry best practices related to Materials Management as part of Project Delivery An understanding, within Rockwell Automation and Lifecycle Services segment, of how Materials Management is handled today with Solution projects (involving use
