Neuropsychologist
Mount Carmel Health, one of the largest hospital systems located in central Ohio, is seeking an additional adult neuropsychologist within the Department of Neurology. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established neuropsychology practice as part of a growing Neuroscience Service Line. This position will be primarily based on the Mount Carmel Grove City campus, which is located 12 miles from downtown Columbus. This practice is co-located with neurology, psychiatry, and neurosurgery clinics and works closely with neuroscience colleagues in the growth and development of related neuroscience programs.
This position will primarily involve provision of outpatient neuropsychology evaluation services with opportunity for involvement in other clinical services based on interest. Referrals primarily are from neurology, neurosurgery, and primary care and encompass a clinically diverse range of patients (e.g., neurodegenerative diseases, stroke, TBI, MS, epilepsy, NPH, tumor, medically complex).
Minimum qualifications: 1) doctoral degree in clinical psychology or neuropsychology from an APA-accredited or CPA-accredited program; 2) completion of a 2-year neuropsychology fellowship/residency; 3) attainment of or eligibility for board certification in clinical neuropsychology through the American Board of Professional Psychology or American Board of Professional Neuropsychology; 4) attainment of an Ohio psychology license by time of start.
