SYNNEX Corporation VP, Global Sales & Business Development - Shyft in Groveport, Ohio

About the Role: VP, Global Sales & Business Development will lead Shyft Global Services' direct sales efforts by driving new client acquisition ("new logos") and empowering a motivated sales team. In this role, you will manage global sales, business development, and sales operations teams to build strategic partnerships with TD SYNNEX's OEM. You will utilize TD SYNNEX's scalable service capabilities to expand market reach, increase revenue, market share, and profitability. Your aim is to grow Shyft's revenue annually by spearheading the adoption of high-margin service programs across OEM partners. This pivotal role will drive direct sales activities, cultivate strategic partnerships, and inspire a sales-centric culture to propel Shyft's growth and market expansion globally. What We're Looking For: Direct Sales Leadership:Prospecting, attending client meetings, and closing negotiations to drive new business acquisition and maintain client relationships. (25%) Sales Strategy Development:Develop and execute a comprehensive global sales and business development plan with clear objectives, revenue targets, and performance metrics. (15%) Sales Team Motivation:Foster a sales culture focused on leveraging Shyft's capabilities to ensure partner success globally. Provide leadership and support to motivate the sales team towards achieving sales targets. (10%) Talent Management:Recruit, retain, and develop high-caliber sales, sales management, and customer relationship teams worldwide. Design and implement effective sales compensation plans to drive performance. (10%) Expansion of Services Programs:Lead the expansion of Shyft services across all global markets, overseeing strategic roadmap development, engagement models, and go-to-market strategies. (10%) Sales Operations Oversight:Manage Sales Operations to support sales activities effectively, ensuring alignment with marketing and operations functions. (5%) Executive Leadership and Alignment:Provide executive leadership across regions, promoting best practices in services sales, launching new services, and enabling partner success. Collaborate closely with business unit leaders to achieve revenue and profitability targets. (10%) Innovation and Market Differentiation:Translate business vision into transformative service programs to drive market expansion and differentiate Shyft in the marketplace. (10%) Communication and Alignment:Ensure clear communication and alignment of Shyft's growth strategy, objectives, and service programs with business unit teams for effective execution. (5%) What You'll Do: Proven track record in direct sales, including prospecting, client meetings, and deal negotiation. 50% travel required 10-15 years leadership experience with a focus on motivating and developing high-performance sales teams. 10-15 years' experience in managing global sales and achieving revenue targets. Deep understanding of services, technology, and OEM channels. Ability to innovate and differentiate offerings in the marketplace. Bachelor's Degree in Business; MBA preferred Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate: $375,000.00 - $450,000.00 Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
