Protective Industrial Products Pad Printer (Warehouse) in Guilderland Center, New York

Shift: 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday-Friday

Location: Northeastern Industrial Park, Guilderland Center, NY

The Pad Print position is responsible for the creation of well-designed PPE equipment logos that fully meet the customer's logo specifications by prepping and printing via manual and automatic machines. To ensure success as a Pad Printer, you should exhibit advanced artistic skills, have the ability to stand for long hours, be comfortable with manual labor in a light industrial environment, and have excellent hand-eye coordination. On the job training will be provided.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Examine work orders to determine estimated printing times, ink, and material quantities.

  • Load plates and pads into the printing machine, both manual and auto.

  • Mix inks in order to color match PMS / Pantone Colors.

  • Install and reposition plates/screens to ensure proper registration of images.

  • Run prints and perform quality checks throughout the printing process.

  • Troubleshoot problems as they arise.

  • Dry, fold and pack completed articles.

  • Basic machine cleanup performed daily.

  • Follow safety guidelines and procedures when operating equipment and handling products.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate effective productivity.

  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and compliance regulations.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Previous work experience as a screen printer preferred.

  • Excellent hand-eye coordination.

  • High level of creative and artistic skills.

  • Ability to stand for long periods.

  • Ability to work with ink and chemicals every day.

  • Ability to manually operate large machinery in a light industrial environment.

  • Ability to work Independently with little supervision.

  • Other duties as assigned.
