Kelly Services LEAN Tool Time Analyst in Hahnville, Louisiana

LEAN Tool Time Analyst job duties:

The LEAN Tool Time Analyst has the primary responsibility of following maintenance jobs to observe and record task level detail that allow us determine areas of opportunities in an effort to reduce waste and increase overall productivity. This person is expected to communicate observations to work coordinators at the end of the day. They must also upload data from Toughpad / ipad into a central database and generate reports to management and our internal clients as needed.

We need an individual to perform detailed time motion studies on turnaround and daily maintenance jobs in order to measure our actual "on tools" time, which will enable productivity improvements and lower our cost to perform maintenance. This process will use LEAN fundamentals and candidate will be trained on how to measure productivity.

Core Responsibilities:

-Observe and record job execution on Toughpad / ipad until end of shift.

-Identify best jobs to follow with work activity coordinators.

  • Perform quality check of the data to ensure accuracy.

  • Upload data from Toughpad / ipad to centralized database.

-Communicate findings to stakeholders and management both verbally and electronically.

-Generate a daily report with a summary of craftsmen activity for the shift, and also a list of potential solutions to identified inefficiencies.

-Generate waste reduction reports on each job for our job planners.

-Occasionally can be assigned to help with other projects initiatives.

Key Skills and Competencies:

Excellent interpersonal skills, non-confrontational personality, proficient in the use of mobile devices (iPad, Toughpad, etc.), proficient in the use of MS Office with emphasis on Excel, Word and Outlook, fast learner and occasional night shift and weekend work might be required as per needs.
