Collins Aerospace is on the hunt for a talented Supply Chain Specialist, Operations to join our team and make a meaningful impact on our Military Landing Gear business. In this onsite role, you’ll be an essential individual contributor, focusing on enhancing how our Landing Systems Supply Chain operates and aligns with both our value stream and broader business objectives.

You’ll dive deep into analysis and reporting while applying your insights hands-on across various Supply Chain departments. Your goal? To drive operational excellence and ensure our performance meets the highest standards. Collaboration will be key as you work closely with shipping, inventory, planning, quality, and operations teams to address challenges and seize opportunities.

What You Will Do:

  • Be the Operational SC member of the value stream for Military Landing Gear, including supporting new product introduction.

  • Represent SC at daily Tier reviews, IPT, Customer, and other appropriate meetings involving supply and demand.

  • Create and provide cadenced Supply Chain health reports to internal customers.

  • Coordinate with Procurement to manage Supply issues providing clear, accurate and timely communication to all stakeholders.

  • Support the business in the implementation of supplier strategies and projects to improve quality, cost, and delivery performance.

  • Lead and be involved in Continuous Improvement (CORE) activities involving supply and demand.

  • Manage small improvement projects and process improvement initiatives.

  • Work closely with leadership and stakeholders to ensure alignment and to resolve supplier issues and drive lessons learned.

  • Work in a matrix organization and use effective influencing skills to ensure materials are delivered to plan.

  • Present at an executive level regularly both issue status and improvement activities.

  • Use leading KPI metrics to identify and then drive improvement activities.

  • Be accountable for facilitating the resolution of problems with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Communicate and present data to leadership.

  • Be flexible and willing to travel approximately 10% and to work flexible hours to support business requirements.

  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience

  • U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here: https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in supply chain or operations or logistics, or inventory management

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with Enterprise Planning Resource (ERP) and/or Material Requirements Planning (MRP) software.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience influencing the team, directly or indirectly.

  • Experience working in a SIOP Organization.

  • Experience with SAP.

  • Continuous Improvement (CORE) problem solving background.

  • Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain or Engineering.

  • Working knowledge of data analysis with the ability to develop actionable insights from the data.

  • Experience working under pressure in a fast-paced role with strict deadlines.

  • Experience with Microsoft office: Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
