FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Starting Wage: $22 - $24, depending on experience

Working Hours: Monday - Thursday 5:00am - 3:30pm

Location: Hamilton, OH, On-site

$1,000 Sign-On Bonus after 90-days

As a Machinist, you will:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on customer manufacturing specifications to create machine programming

  • Set up, troubleshoot, and operate Blanchard Grinders according to strict tolerances.

  • Examine and measure completed units, identifying defects and ensuring adherence to specifications; adjust machine controls to resolve production errors

  • Exercise strong problem-solving ability for the inspection and repair of machinery

  • Other duties as assigned

Skills and Experience for Success:

  • 2+ years of experience using and/or programming manual, semi-automated or automated tools, and machines

  • Ability to proficiently set up and use measuring equipment including CMM, CAD-Cam, Micrometers, Height Gauges, Calipers, Profilometers, etc.

  • Expert in reading and interpreting blueprints and design sketches

  • Ability to create and maintain updated work processes related to machining

  • Familiar with warehouse, manufacturing, or production planning environments
