FMLA Status: Non-Exempt

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 6:30am - 3:30pm

Location: On-Site, Hamilton, OH 45015

Starting Wage: $20 - $22, Depending On Experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shipping/Receiving/Material Handling:

  • Responsible for managing the receiving of incoming freight including the physical and transactional aspect of receiving products and performing Stratix transactions

  • Prepares documentation to support daily shipments

  • Routes freight, inbound and outbound, with specified carriers

  • Prepares packing slips, Bill of Lading (BOL) and export documents when necessary

  • Assists Sales/Program Planning department on shipping issues

  • Utilizes freight tables to verify correct shipping cost

  • Processes all UPS / FedEx shipments via computer

  • Check inventory of supplies used in shipping

  • Required to operate onsite GE ATC forklifts to deliver product to point of use

  • Responsible for maintaining information regarding NAFTA

  • Responsible for inventory movement between UPM locations

  • Truck Driver Responsibilities:

  • ATC “milk-run” deliveries/pick up’s each Thursday

  • Transactional pick-ups/deliveries to local customer using the UPM truck

  • Making deliveries to customer/vendor locations

  • Performing strapping/unstrapping operation

  • Maintain Driver logs

  • Daily inspection of company truck

    Experience/Education/Attributes/Skills For Success:

  • Basic reading, shop math and measuring instruments skills

  • Strong communication (both oral and written) with the ability to communicate across all levels of the organization

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Proficient use of computer skills

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to perform in an environment fostering teamwork and results

  • Fork Truck Training, Shipping Training, Safety training, and fire Extinguisher Training

  • Must be able to meet the physical demands of the role
