What this job involves - The Move Manager is responsible for coordination and delivery of successful relocation projects. Starting from initiation of requests all the way through close out activities, the Move Manager will leverage information from the Occupancy Planner and utilize best practices and resources to execute assigned moves, minor furniture reconfigurations, minor office repairs and new product installations. Your day to day: Responsible for direct interaction with client and JLL stakeholders regarding project requirements. Collaborate with space planning team to complete move and reconfiguration projects following client Standards. Coordinate the day-to-day details for all aspects of each move. Review with internal stakeholders prior to implementation. Initiate and execute programming, planning and coordination, overall project scheduling and control, overall budgeting and reporting, financial administration, project documentation and project close-out for each move project. Coordinate project activities with internal and external partners and suppliers. Coordinate activities with engineers, technologies, building service staff, contractors, vendors, and movers. Review moves related quotes and track cost to ensure all moves are done within budget. Manage, acting as agent, warehouse inventory information. Oversee post move activities including customer survey. Provide specific project feedback on vendors regarding their performance. Ensure that the client database gets updated for each move performed so that accurate records are kept. Perform field verifications. Including walkthroughs for drawing updates and employee location verifications. Sound like you? To apply you need: 5+ years or equivalent experience in real estate, customer service, or related experience. 2+ years of leadership experience with a sizable team made up of managers and/or individual contributors. Strong demonstrated capability of navigating complex and sensitive conflict resolution, and impactful influencing skills, internal and external. BA / BS or equivalent in Real Estate, Hospitality, Business a plus Demonstrate integrity, dependability, responsibility, accountability, self-awareness, work ethic and empathy. Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast paced heavily matrixed environment. Strong analytical/financial aptitude. Ability to gather data, assess situations and quickly develop solutions. Highly collaborative with strong interpersonal skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate professionally. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Work, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook, and Access).
