Inner Parish Security Corporation (IPSC) has provided tailored security solutions throughout the Gulf Coast for over 45 years. We provide armed and unarmed security officers to protect commercial businesses and assets. We also perform federal contract security and emergency response work. Our electronics division installs and maintains burglar alarms, fire alarms, and CCTV systems. We also monitor commercial alarm systems. In recent years our company has doubled in size. Position Summary:
This role is a key role responsible for overseeing the overall operational strategy and execution of security operations. This leader will partner with 2 Sr. Regional Mangers in managing the entire operations department, including multiple Regional Managers, Branch Managers, Field Managers, Branch Supervisors, Field Supervisors, Rovers and roughly 1,500 security officers, ensuring that service delivery meets or exceeds client expectations, operational efficiency is maximized, and financial goals are achieved. The Sr. Regional Manager is tasked with optimizing staffing levels, reducing operational costs, ensuring full compliance with security protocols, and maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
This position will start off by spending the majority of time in our New Orleans Branch. Our New Orleans Branch Office is located in Kenner, LA and our work is in the greater New Orleans area. This Branch will serve as your primary training ground for at least the first few months.
Key Responsibilities:
• Leadership & Oversight: Directly oversee regional managers and Branch Managers to ensure effective management of security operations across multiple sites and regions.
• Strategic Planning: Develop and execute long-term strategies for operational growth, process improvements, and service expansion.
• Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring service delivery meets contractual obligations and addressing any concerns or issues that arise.
• Business Development: Build new relationships with new clients and partner up with IPSC’s Business Development Department to create new business opportunities.
• Staffing & Recruitment: Collaborate with HR and recruitment teams to ensure optimal staffing levels, actively engage in high-level recruitment efforts, and maintain strong retention rates across the company.
• Financial & Budgetary Management: Monitor and manage departmental budgets, ensuring cost control and operational efficiency while achieving financial targets.
• Operational Excellence: Implement systems and processes to improve efficiency, reduce overtime, eliminate open shifts, and enhance overall service quality.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure full compliance with legal regulations, company policies, and security protocols, while maintaining a high level of safety and risk management across all sites.
• Performance Management: Develop and monitor performance metrics, providing guidance and support to regional and site managers to ensure consistent service delivery and operational success.
• Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for operational improvement and innovation, leveraging technology and best practices to enhance service offerings and client satisfaction.
• Crisis Management: Lead the response to any operational emergencies, ensuring timely resolution and communication with clients and internal teams. This includes responding in person to areas of natural disasters and managing an emergency response field team.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in business management, operations, or a related field preferred (Master’s degree preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in operations management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the security or services industry.
• Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage large teams and complex operations.
• Demonstrated success in managing client relationships, driving operational efficiency, and controlling budgets.
• Extensive knowledge of security protocols, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
• Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management and cost control.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and handle operational challenges efficiently.
Work Environment:
This role requires significant travel (5-10 days per month on average) to various IPSC Branch offices, work sites and client locations around the country, as well as the ability to manage a diverse and distributed workforce. This position is required to be able to respond to operational issues during off-hours and be available for crisis management as needed.

Physical and Mental Job Requirements:
Must have effective written and verbal communication skills and must be able to communicate clearly and quickly in cases of emergency.
Must be able to read and interpret written information under a variety of circumstances.
Must be able to drive a motor vehicle in the course of his/her duties if required.
Must be able to detect and identify sounds relevant to fires, floods, alarm signals, and persons in distress against distracting sound background conditions (e.g., machinery, traffic noise, etc.)
Must be able to: Walk, Run, Stand, Climb, Sit.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. waist high, if required.
Must be in good mental health and be able to make decisions instantly on the event of an emergency.
Must meet the physical and mental requirements of the state(s) to be licensed by the state to perform Security Guard / Security Officer work. Must be able to obtain the status of license required for the position, either Armed or Unarmed and clear a MVR screening.
