Our client, a leader in the testing and laboratory services industry, is seeking a Field Technician to join their team. As a Field Technician, you will be part of the operations supporting essential testing processes. The ideal candidate will have critical thinking skills, a self-motivated attitude, and the ability to work independently and on a team which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Field Technician

Location: Hampton, VA 23661

Pay Range: $18/hr

What's the Job?

• Perform operations including grinding, crushing, dividing, drying, and mixing of coal and coke samples.

• Maintain the integrity of all samples throughout the preparation process.

• Collect and verify the identity of gross samples and report any issues to the supervisor.

• Travel to railroad locations to collect coal samples for laboratory testing.

• Clean and organize work areas while adhering to safety protocols.

What's Needed?

• Hardworking, self-motivated, and reliable demeanor.

• Ability to learn quickly and follow precise work instructions.

• Capability to lift 50 pounds and work for extended periods on your feet.

• High School diploma or GED is required.

• Must possess an active driver's license and clean driving record (no SR-22's, DUI's, reckless driving, etc.)
