BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking a Special Needs Caregiver who enjoys working 1:1 in home and community settings as a companion and mentor for individuals with autism, intellectual, or developmental disabilities.

Paid Apprentice Program: No experience required – We are committed to investing in nurturing in our team member’s desire to grow professionally and make a difference in their community.

Relatable Experience: Caring for a family member, Direct Support Professional, Habilitation Technician, Personal Care Aide, Paraprofessional, Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), Nurse’s Aide, Caregiver.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Accompany clients on errands and appointments

  • Spend time on the client’s favorite hobbies and activities

  • Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation

  • Participate in community integration activities

  • Provide personal care assistance as needed

Compensation & Schedule:

  • Weekly Pay

Qualifications:

  • One year experience working with clients with intellectual and development disabilities preferred but not required (paid training provided)

  • Desire to train

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Type: Full-Time, Part-Time, Weekdays, Weekends available

Pay: Weekly; $17 and up based on experience
