Job Title: Configuration Manager

Job Description

Work closely with program management, engineering, test & evaluation, cybersecurity, and logistics in a fast-paced DevSecOps environment. Prepare technical documentation within the program office. Support the development of Configuration Management (CM) policies, plans, and procedures for a large software-intensive project. Create, manage, and process product distributions of hardware and software platforms, beta releases, patches, and documentation. Participate in configuration audits and fielding activities of software products to ensure proper identification, control, and status accounting of the software baseline for each system. Perform software management, CM process and procedure audits, baseline identification, and preparation and control of product documentation. Support the prime vendor in developing and implementing hardware and software version control processes, policies, and procedures. Facilitate the Configuration Control Board (CCB), coordinate change requests (CR), and validate CR requests.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Aberdeen, Maryland and some days remote.

Work Environment

The office is located a couple of miles off base at APG in Aberdeen, with a SCIF in Hanover where the person will sit. A hybrid remote schedule of 2 days remote per week is offered unless on-site meetings are required. Occasional on-site visits to the base and meetings with the Army customer may be necessary. There may also be travel to different sites, including NOVA, the South, the Midwest, etc. This role supports the Electronic Warfare and Cyber (EW&C) Program, which has a 4-year contract remaining.
