JOB SUMMARY

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Evaluates stock levels on a daily basis and directs staff to fill potential shortages.

• QA's equipment requests for accuracy and validity.

• Matches inventory levels to requests and distributes equipment appropriately.

• Evaluates training needs of staff and brings requests for manufacturer involvement when necessary to manager.

• Trains technicians on proper repair and recertification techniques before and after manufacturer's training.

• Evaluates repair parts stock levels and orders appropriately.

• Orders all necessary supplies to meet job requirements.

• Repairs equipment and certifies to manufacturer's specifications.

• Makes corrections in system records to ensure accuracy and allow for processing.

• Ensures that all electronic, pneumatic and mechanical test equipment is properly calibrated and/or certified.

• Receives new equipment in all relevant systems once quantities are verified by warehouse.

• Approves or denies any estimate given by manufacturer. Verifies that invoices match estimates.

• Performs other related duties as directed by manager.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma is required.

• At least five years related experience is required.

• Formal electronics technology certification or equivalent experience is required.

• N/A

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES

Computer Skills

• Computer savvy with: MS Excel, MS Office and MS Project required.

Language Skills

• English (reading, writing, verbal)

Mathematical Skills

• Basic level mathematical proficiency, with a strong ability to understand, interpret and develop spreadsheet data.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This is a stationary position that requires frequent sitting or standing, repetitive wrist motions, grasping, speaking, listening, close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. It also may require occasional lifting, carrying, walking, climbing, kneeling, bending/stooping, twisting, pulling/pushing, walking, and reaching above the shoulder. Employees in this position must be physically able to efficiently perform the essential functions of the position.
