Insight Global Cloud Architect in Hanscom Afb, Massachusetts

Job Description

A federal client is looking for a Cloud Architect to join their team in Lexington, MA. This client is supporting a large-scale cloud migration in the defense space. This resource will be a highly technical individual in charge of technical efforts, leading a team of individuals responsible for translating and transforming enterprise and mission cross-functional requirements into cloud-based architectures and solutions, and policies where needed. They will be required to stay up-to-date with the latest security and technological advances with all hyperscale CSPs to include enterprise products/services such as CSSP, application protections, secure DevSecOps pipelines and with other emerging technology.

Compensation:

$60/hr to $85/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401K retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements

-5+ years of experience supporting application and infrastructure modernization from brown to green or blue to green (lift-and-shift, lift-and-modernize)

-Extensive experience with cloud technologies specifically AWS

-Experience with Application/Cloud value streams (utilizing repeatable CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps)

-Experience with networking (load balancing, VPNs, peering, firewalls, SD WAN)

-Exposure to Identity, Security, and Zero Trust Architectures (IdAM, PKI, NPE, WAF, micro segmentation)

-Ability to obtain a secret clearance -AWS certifications (devops engineer, advanced networking, solutions architect, or SysOps Administrator) null
