Robert Half Technology is working with a well-established distribution company in the New Orleans area on a search for a Warehouse Operations Manager. Experience and knowledge with managing large distribution warehouses is key.

This is a full-time permanent role directly with the company and includes benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the operations of large distribution warehouses

• Manage warehouse procedures to optimize efficiency and productivity

• Ensure the accurate and timely processing of customer applications

• Maintain precise records of customer interactions and transactions

• Resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally

• Monitor customer accounts and implement appropriate actions as needed

• Implement warehouse management skills to enhance operational flow

• Utilize knowledge of Warehouse Distribution to improve practices

• Ensure the safety and cleanliness of the warehouse

• Collaborate with various teams to meet company objectives and improve customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse operations management

• Proficiency in warehouse distribution activities

• Familiarity with warehouse management systems and procedures

• Strong leadership and team management skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to develop and implement strategic plans for operational activity

• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Experience in budget development and oversight

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
