Adecco is now hiring an experienced CDL A driver for our client in Hatfield! This is a direct hire role!

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CDL A Truck Driver with extensive experience in distribution and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have a solid background with FedEx/UPS, a proven track record in a distribution setting, and a strong commitment to customer service. This role involves heavy lifting, adherence to company procedures, and proficiency with both stand-up and sit-down forklifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a CDL A truck to transport goods efficiently and safely. Ensure timely delivery and adherence to schedules.

• Operate both stand-up and sit-down forklifts for warehouse tasks including loading/unloading trucks and organizing inventory.

• Handle and lift packages up to 80lbs. Ensure proper loading and unloading of cargo.

• Follow company procedures from start to finish in a distribution environment. Efficiently manage the flow of goods and inventory.

• Provide outstanding service to clients and customers. Address and resolve any delivery-related issues with a positive attitude.

• Utilize solid math skills to accurately handle and process shipments and deliveries.

• Display a strong sense of urgency in completing tasks and moving on to the next priority. Maintain a high level of productivity.

• Maintain an excellent attendance record and demonstrate dependability. Ensure reliable transportation for work duties.

Qualifications:

• Valid CDL A license required.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience. Previous experience with FedEx/UPS shipping systems preferred.

• At least 1 year of experience in a distribution setting.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating both stand-up and sit-down forklifts.

• Strong mathematical abilities for handling and processing shipments.

• Proven ability to interact effectively with customers and provide excellent service.

• Excellent attendance record with a commitment to reliability and punctuality.

• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 80lbs regularly.

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks associated with warehouse and distribution work.
