Description

We are on the hunt for an Accounting Director to be based in Harrisburg area. This role will oversee all aspects of the accounting department, including financial reporting, compliance, leading the accounting team, and financial operations.

Responsibilities of the Accounting Director will include:

• Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

• Develop annual budgets and long-term financial forecasts

• Lead and mentor the accounting/billing team

• Manage cash flow, oversee banking relationships, and optimize working capital to support the company's financial objectives

• Conduct financial analysis and variance analysis to assess performance, and identify trends

Requirements

• 7+ years of accounting experience and in a leadership role.

• Proficiency in Deltek and QuickBooks is a preferred requirement.

• The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is required.

• Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment is a plus.

• Professional certification such as CPA or CMA is a plus.
