Reference #: 4601038 THE POSITION The role involves carrying out a range of administrative tasks for the Division of School Health and the Bureau of Community Health Systems. As an Administrative Officer 1, the position entails handling various fiscal management and budget-related responsibilities, in addition to overseeing administrative duties. Furthermore, the individual will be tasked with managing the web-based School Health Annual Reimbursement Reporting System (SHARRS) and providing support in reviewing, analyzing, and developing program policies, operating procedures, and special projects. In this position, you will be responsible for the management of the compliance tracking and reimbursement system for school health services provided by educational entities. This includes reviewing, approving, and processing annual school health reports, using SHARRS, for reimbursement for medical, dental/dental hygiene, nursing services, and ACT 25 provided in 500 school districts, 179 charter schools, and 9 area vocational technical schools. You will analyze and evaluate these reports to assure compliance with state laws and regulations, completeness, and appropriateness of services rendered.

You will also be responsible for coordinating any inquiries regarding the reimbursement system either by telephone or via written audit reports. This requires reviewing and analyzing audit findings and recommending resolutions.

This position is also responsible for the annual budget request for all state and federal appropriations in the Division of School Health. These duties include preparing rebudget allocations by cost function and minor object code, preparing closing encumbrances, and resolving discrepancies.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Two years of experience in varied office management or staff work; and bachelor's degree; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
