The Department of Environmental Protection's Bureau of Radiation Protection (BRP) is seeking an innovative and organized individual to join our team as an Administrative Officer 1! DESCRIPTION OF WORK As an Administrative Officer 1, you will be responsible for overseeing the Administrative Support Services Section within the BRP Director's Office. This position reports to the Program Analyst 3 and involves managing budgetary, personnel, procurement, contracting, and various administrative tasks. Your responsibilities will include conducting research on budget, personnel, and management matters, as well as providing direct supervision to the administrative and clerical support sections. While you will report to the Program Analyst 3, Bureau Director, Division Managers, and other staff members on central issues, you will also work with considerable independence in making administrative, human resource, and fiscal decisions for BRP.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch. Occasional overtime and travel required as needed Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Two years of experience in varied office management or staff work; and bachelor's degree; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
