We are looking for an Administrative Officer 5 to oversee the fiscal management, contracting and procurement, warehousing and office services, as well as licensing for the PA Game Commission in Harrisburg. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As an Administrative Officer 5, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation, analysis, and control of bureau and regional budgets, directing the administration of the purchase of goods, services, and commodities, as well as maintaining acquisition, storage, distribution, and record keeping of all documentation necessary for day-to-day operations. You will have the opportunity to attend legislative hearings and conduct investigations of license issuing agent applications. Additional responsibilities may include: Reviewing budgets for accuracy Updating bureau directors and executive office staff on fiscal matters Serving as the Risk Management and Insurance lead as well as Property Control Officer Performing a variety of administrative tasks to ensure efficiency of daily operations

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 7:45 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 45-minute lunch. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as an Administrative Officer 4 (Commonwealth title); or Eight years of experience in progressively responsible and varied management or staff work, including personnel management, fiscal management, budgeting, or procurement; and such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four year college or university; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
