DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this role, you will serve as a Computer Operator at the Print Center for the PA Office of Administration | ETSO - IED Technology Services Office (PennDOT, DCED, PEMA). The Print Center, located at the Riverfront Office Center in Harrisburg, PA, processes input and output for multiple mission critical applications such as Driver Licensing, Motor Vehicle Registration, Police Interface, Road and Bridge Management, Project/Contract Management, Accident Records and other Administrative Systems. These computer systems process an average of 788,000 transactions a day and produce over 4 million printed pages per month. The Print Center's primary enterprise-wide printing systems are Ricoh Infoprint 5000 Inkjet Advanced Function Duplex, Printronix P8220 Line Matrix and Ricoh Pro 8220 High Volume Cut-Sheet. You will have the opportunity to participate in problem determination and resolution within the unit to maintain production services and output delivery.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Salary:The starting salary is non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year of experience as a Computer Operator 1; or One year of experience in operating computer and an associate degree with major course work in data processing; or Two years of experience in operating computers; and graduation from high school; or equivalent certification or formal training. Formal training in electronic data processing may be substituted for experience at the rate of 25 hours for one month, to a maximum of 12 months. You must be able to perform essential job functions.
