DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with data management and the execution of Pennsylvania's Phase III Watershed Implementation Plan. You will play a key role in documenting agricultural compliance and will aid in fostering understanding and collaboration among local government entities. The ideal candidate should possess a solid grasp of web-based processes and demonstrate a keen attention to detail. While engaged with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), the individual will also interact with external stakeholders, including county officials and representatives from local governments.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time internship that will run from 5/1/2025 through 8/29/2025 Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time on a schedule that aligns with your supervisor, so you are in the office on the same days. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. You will receive further communication regarding this position via email. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Internship Requirements:
Current full-time enrollment in a bachelor's degree, or advanced degree program in one of the following majors: Environmental Science Biology An approved major course of study at an accredited college or university Good academic standing (2.0 GPA or higher) Freshman year completed Pennsylvania residency or enrollment at a Pennsylvania college or university Additional Requirements: This position requires possession of a valid Class C non-commercial driver's license. You must be able to perform essential job functions.
