The Enterprise Technology Services Office, Health & Human Services Delivery Center has an exciting opportunity for an Information Technology Technician. This position involves monitoring the Enterprise batch data processing to ensure timely and successful completion of all processes. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

The IT Technician will be an integral member of the Scheduling Unit team which is  responsible for the day-to-day operations of the unit and handle the interaction with this team and ISO TSO Account Administration team. In this role, you will apply working knowledge of the Operations Control/Cross Platform Scheduler Software. Work includes building, creating, executing, and maintaining daily batch schedules for production and test environments, updating daily online reports, and creating and maintaining daily logs.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment. Work hours are 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, Sunday - Thursday, with 30-minute lunch. Telework: You must come into the office ONE DAY A MONTH AT A MINIMUM. Youwill be expected to work from home (telework) for the reminder of your work schedule but this could change and you may be required to come into the office more frequently. The office is headquartered at 2525 North 7th Street, Harrisburg. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Although this is a telework position, you will be required to come to the Harrisburg office to pick up your equipment. Other reasons for coming into the office include:  changes to the current telework that would require staff to come into the office, to attend training, mandatory meetings or on an ad hoc basis. Your supervisor will give you at least a 24 hour notice and all travel will be at your own expense. Parking is located at the building and is free. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year of experience as an IT Help Desk Technician (commonwealth title); or One year of experience providing IT support services involving hardware and software installation, operation, and maintenance and completion of a one-year apprenticeship in the IT technical support field; or Two years of experience providing IT support services involving hardware and software installation, operation, and maintenance; or An associate degree in an IT field; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
