Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Print Production Technician in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania

Reference #: 4588907 THE POSITION Do you have experience in a print or mail production facility? If so, the Pennsylvania Game Commission has an exciting opportunity for you! We are looking for a Print Production Technician with exceptional work ethic to join our team in the Bureau of Administrative Services at our Harrisburg Headquarters. This position provides on demand printing for the agency to assure all print jobs are completed efficiently and accurately as well as ensure mailroom functions operate in an efficient manner for incoming and outgoing mail. DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Print Production Technician, you will utilize your job knowledge and experience to operate printers in the shop and manage storefront software where print jobs are sent to by agency personnel. You will be responsible performing quality control checks on all print jobs to ensure formatting and quality of final products. Work includes using mail merge software, performing routine maintenance on printers, compiling reports, and managing inventories. You will have the opportunity to communicate with multiple bureaus and regions in regards to print jobs and correspond with support to have printers services and maintained.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 7:45 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 45-minute lunch. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as a Print Production Operator; or One year of experience in the operation of print or mail insertion equipment or similar machinery used in a print or mail production facility; or An equivalent combination of experience and training. Additional Requirements: You must be able to perform essential job functions.
