DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this position, you will assist in developing and implementing statewide engineering policies and complete engineering plans, investigations, studies, and designs which lack established guidelines. You will perform advanced civil engineering work and apply duties associated with the hydraulic design, analysis, construction, and maintenance of roads, bridges, related hydro logic structures, and other civil engineering projects. You will perform studies, prepare plans, and recommend designs for technical hydraulic features. Additionally, participate in natural disaster response activities, including conducting site investigations, and provide technical advice on hydro logic and hydraulic issues to districts, Central Office and property owners.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. This position is eligible for alternate work schedule (AWS)

Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

Six years of civil engineering experience in the appropriate specialty and an Engineer-in-Training certificate issued by or acceptable to the Pennsylvania State Registration Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists. or Five years of civil engineering experience in the appropriate specialty; and an Engineer-in-Training certificate issued by or acceptable to the Pennsylvania State Registration Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists; and an associate's degree in civil engineering technology or a closely related engineering discipline; or Two years of professional civil engineering experience in the appropriate specialty, and a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.Special Requirement:
