If so, the Pennsylvania Department of General Services (DGS), Bureau of Real Estate is seeking an energetic, detail-oriented, Space Management Administrative Officer to join our team! Apply today! DESCRIPTION OF WORK An employee in this position reports directly to the Assistant Director and provides comprehensive administrative support to the Division of Real Estate Services (DORES) as related to space management activities. Your work will focus on space allocation, utilization and planning activities, and ensuring optimal utilization of available resources. Projects are specifically related to space and furniture, and office relocations for all Commonwealth agencies.

Employee's duties will include but not be limited to: Assisting with preparing lease specifications Managing project documentation such as taking and distributing meeting minutes Coordinating between the project team and relevant stakeholders, Updating and managing standards Developing graphic presentations and agenda for meetings with customer agencies Intake and coordination of project requests Coordinating with agency liaisons and representatives to educate on processes and procedures, and other administrative tasks Interested in learning more? Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment. Work hours are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. Once a month in-office at minimum will be required. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Candidate must be able to travel to headquarters location and conduct site visits as required. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Two years of experience in varied office management or staff work; and bachelor's degree;  or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirements: You must possess a valid Class C PA driver's license. You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Preferred Qualifications (not required): Experience reading and interpreting construction drawings Experience using drafting software
