This senior role plays a pivotal part in ensuring the security, efficiency, reliability, and scalability of our cloud infrastructure and related operations. In this role you will be managing core AWS infrastructure in a sophisticated multi-account

environment. Staff DevOps Engineers directly manage some parts of the environment, you will also be enabling teams to own their own infrastructure by directly supporting them, producing standards and guidelines and automation platforms to lower friction.

In this role you will directly impact the efficiency of the businesses to deploy applications, maintain or reduce infrastructure costs and accelerate the time-to-market for new products and solutions. Ultimately enhancing overall business performance and competitiveness in the market.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & KEY PERFORMANCE OUTCOMES

• Primary responsibility will be to architect, implement, and optimize cloud-based solutions, leveraging industry best practices.

• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers anddrive continuous improvement and innovation across our DevOps practices.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design and deploy robust, automated systems that support our organization's mission-critical applications and services.

• Monitor and maintain the health of our cloud environment, identifying and resolving issues proactively to minimize downtime and incidents.

• Participant in the on-call rotation.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• 8+ years of AWS Experience

• 8 + years experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation

• 8 + years of production grade coding experience with languages such as Bash, Python and Golang for scripting and automation of services

• 8 years of experience with containerization, the docker ecosystem and related tooling.

Preferred Skills

• Azure and GCP experience.

• Staff DevOps Engineer experience on resume.

• A solid grasp of cloud security and best practices and an understanding of compliance standards such as HIPAA and HITRUST is preferred.

*The US base salary range for this full-time position is:

$143,327.23 - $214,990.85
